  5. Henderson Crayton MCDANIEL,b.ca 1819 in AL.; d. February 1872, Giddings, Tx.He married Ann Elizabeth STOVALL the 29 Jan 1846 in Marshall Co., MS, daughter of Patrick Henry STOVALL and Ane Dorcas STOVALL. Henderson migrated with his family and mother-in-law to Burleson Co., TX by 1854, and lived on Brushy Creek near Lexington. Moved to Giddings a few years after the Civil War and opened a general store there. He is buried at Farley Chapel.
